Laura Espitia (she/her) is a New York-based artist originally from Bogota, Colombia. While in Kissimmee, Florida, Laura discovered a passion for concert dance at her local middle/high school, Osceola County School for the Arts. Later, she earned her Bachelor in Fine Arts degree from New World School of the Arts in Miami, Florida. In 2015, she had her professional debut with Rosie Herrera Dance Theatre and was presented the Spike Award through Rosie to attend American Dance Festival that summer. With the connections she made at ADF, Laura has been recruited to travel internationally with Gaspard and Dancers and in NYC for various choreographers. While on scholarship at the Taylor School in 2021, Laura Halzack invited her to join this wonderful ensemble. Laura is currently also a full-time student at Hunter College, in pursuit of becoming a licensed dental hygienist. Thank you all for your unconditional love and support.
