LaHa Dance Group is seeking a female-identifying dancer for the 2026/27 season. 

Highly skilled NYC-based dancers with experience in contemporary and modern dance styles are encouraged to apply. 

Audition Timeline: 

Applications open: Monday, August 17, 2026

Application deadline: Monday, August 24, 2026 @ 11:00pm

NYC audition (invitation only): Monday, September 14, 2026 @ 10am-3pm at Taylor Dance East (551 Grand St, NY, NY) 

Audition will include a brief warm up followed by company repertory. 

CONTRACT DETAILS:

Start date: September 21, 2026

Compensation: $25/hr for rehearsals; $200 per performance

Location: New York, NY

Rehearsals: Mondays 11:30am-3:30pm with free company class at 10am; Fridays 1pm-4pm

About LaHa Dance Group:

LaHa Dance Group started as a project centered around a single work of choreography in 2022 and has since grown into a band of dance artists who rehearse and collaborate weekly under the direction of dancer and choreographer Laura Halzack. LaHa’s hope is to create works that both mirror and abstract our human condition as a means to engage audiences and create community through shared dance experiences.
