Lauren Stucko
Lauren Stucko grew up dancing at multiple schools in New Jersey including the Academy of Dance Arts, New Jersey Dance Theater Ensemble and Allegro Dance Academy. After intense training during her high school years, she attended George Mason University under a dance scholarship and graduated magna cum laude and received her BFA in dance in 2018. Ms. Stucko has been dancing on scholarship at the Paul Taylor school since 2021 and since then has performed many works by Mr. Taylor, such as Runes, Aureole, Brandenburgs, Polaris, Arden Court, Airs, Duet, Esplanade, and Sports and Follies.
She has danced major works by Lucinda Childs, Lar Lubovitch, Doug Varone, Visceral Chicago, Nimbus2, Lydia Johnson Dance, Caterina Rago Dance Company, Hope Boykin, David Grenke, Alison Cook Beatty Dance and apprenticed with Zvi Gotheiner to name a few. Many of the roles she performed were soloist roles, as well as ensemble. Lauren has performed at the Joyce Theater, George Mason University Center for the Arts, Kennedy Center, Ena Mikro Vima in Greece, and Reynolds Theater in North Carolina. She has been so fortunate to have received a multitude of scholarships to programs such as American Dance Festival, Limon, Gibney and Taylor intensives. These programs have all fueled the dancer she is today!
Lauren is currently a Senior private and group pilates instructor and yoga teacher for Equinox in Summit, NJ and was selected as one of the top 30 pilates instructors in the company for 2023. She also teaches for Club Pilates and enjoys judging dance competitions for Starbound. She is so excited to be performing in her second season with Laura Halzack!!!
